Parenting 1, 2, 3 ... - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
"Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it." -- Proverbs 22:6 (NLT)

Please Pray:

Father, some days I feel like I am failing as a parent. But it is very comforting to know that you are constantly at my side as I wade through the waters of raising up my children in the ways they should go. I ask that you provide me with the wisdom, the knowledge, and the wherewithal to lead and provide a Godly example to my children. I need you, I need you, I need you each and every moment of the day. Thank you for everything you are and will continue to be. In Your Holy Name I pray, Amen.

I was born and reared in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I still live in my hometown with my husband, Alan, and our very smart German Shepherd, Hoka. I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, cleverly disguised as a wife, mom, grandmom, and author. My purpose is to connect with God’s most beautiful and clever creation, the human family, using the literary talent and imagination God gave me. My prayer is that as we journey together, we will discover encouragement and redemption in our most important relationships.
