Power In Our Tongue…

Hi, beautiful family. It’s Idara again, today I’d want to talk about our tongue and the power that follows our tongue.

It’s no longer news that our life can flow in the direction of our tongue.
Truly, the power of life and death is in the tongue.
Why’d you think that you’d have the Spirit of A Being who can say something as simple as ‘let there be light,’ and creation obeyed. Bam! Light appeared.
You have the same Spirit of your Father, and yes, the Earth obeys your words too. They see the authority over you and they can’t help but obey.

You can say something as casual as ‘time is not in my favour’ and just like that, you’ve sowed something. The earth has actually picked something up, while it patiently waits for you to water what you’ve sowed with more negative words. However that sounds, it’s true. We sow with our words.

Why don’t you cultivate the habit of sowing positivity into your life? You may think its just normal to criticize yourself or say something derogatory about yourself when you’ve made a mistake, but hello ma, the earth picks it up.

I understand that sometimes we do it unconsciously. I’m really grateful to God for few friends who make me take back my words when I say something because I feel scared or fidgety. They make me pause and rewind, and counter the negative talk of fear to something positive. Words like, ‘I’m finished. I can’t do this. This thing is not working for me.’
up.” These thoughts and words can work against you. Instead, consistently tell yourself that you can and will accomplish your goal. Remember that your mind hears every word you speak and it attracts what you speak.

“What we sincerely believe regarding ourselves is true for us.”
— Orison Swett Marden

It’s not you lying or not saying things as they are, it’s you seeing things the way they are but being unshaken by it and bringing it back to the way it should be, with your words.

I’ve learnt to turn words around before I profess it. Like when I do something that didn’t turn out well because of a mistake I could have avoided, I go all ‘See this awesome girl sha.’ I know that didn’t seem like the right thing to say at that time, I should have insulted my efforts, right? No. I know how powerful my words could be. So I do everything I could to avoid negative words.

Please consciously say positive things about your life, about your siblings, about your parents, about your business, your academics, your finance.
Don’t accept what you don’t want by professing what your eyes see, no, counter what you see, by professing what your eyes of faith see.

Profess good words!
Confess good things about yourself!
Don’t tell yourself you’re a nobody, Kai, remember your identity.
Profess! Profess! Profess!
Everything, I mean, everything is working out for you. Believe it! Say it! Stand by it!

Prov.18.20 – From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied.
Prov.18.21 – The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Eph.4.29 – Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Yay! Thank you for taking your time to read through this article of mine. I’m still Idara, please don’t forget to drop comments, contributions or questions about this or anything else.
Remember, I’m available for discussions. Send me a message via my email address. It’s on my profile.

I love you, and God loves you even better.

Next time.
