The Best Vegetable Peeler for Arthritis - Little Mama of Faith

Have you experienced…?

Do you have arthritis? Do you have a hard time gripping and grasping typical, thin vegetable peelers? Have you sliced your finger more than once trying to peel potatoes? Do you waste too much potato when you try to peel with a knife?

I have. I do…

My type of dwarfism is Kniest Syndrome (one of the more rare of the hundreds of different types). Many of us with Kniest develop arthritis, which can weaken our hand strength. We also cannot make a fist, which limits our grip. This makes holding and using most peelers challenging.

For these reasons, I’ve experienced the frustrations I named above, but over the years, I’ve found a very cool peeler that helps overcome these issues! I’m so excited about this potato peeler! I want to share with you in hopes it helps you or someone you love, as well!

Here’s what I found that works!

Best Vegetable Peeler for Arthritis

This is the best vegetable peeler for someone with arthritis, poor grip or weak hand strength. I’ve tried a lot of other peelers, but I can’t hold them firmly in my hand like this one. When I peel with a knife, I waste too much of the vegetable. This peeler makes peeling potatoes and other veggies so easy!

When I use OXO Good Grips Swivel Peeler, I can peel like a pro, with warp speed and without slicing my finger. It has a soft, comfortable handle and sharp blades and is dishwasher safe.

    It’s Going to Be Okay

It was one of the worst days of my life. Tragedy struck our family in the worst way and I was emotionally paralyzed. That’s when my friend, Mary, stepped in to do what I couldn’t. She made me a hotel reservation, called the necessary people, and said, “It’s going to be okay.” “It’s going to be okay” is one of the most hope-filled sentiments I can offer to others, Read more...
