Walking by faith and not by sight - Raising Zion

walking by faith

I recently heard a short testimony of a sister in Christ. It encouraged me.

She is from a religious background. The only one who came to Christ from her family after much persecution. Over time she found another sister like her, the only in her family, who had received Jesus as Lord. They began to pray together.

One day this sister had a pain in her foot. They were unable to assemble together. Incidentally the other sister had the same foot problem. They missed meeting in fellowship because of the pain. Within a few days they felt they needed to come together irrespective of the pain. They were convinced this was the work of the devil.

They came together and prayed fervently for their healing. Immediately God healed both of their aching feet.

God heals when we trust in His Word, walking by faith

People often unnecessarily question the need of going to church. We are members of the body of Christ and need to learn to come together in joy and suffering. When we reflect on what Jesus says concerning fellowship between two believers, we’d always find time to pray every day.

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”‭

Matthew 18:19,20

God’s word is perfect and true. When we believe in what God has promised, we will see the glory of God in our lives.

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

John‬ ‭14:13-14‬

Behold how good and pleasant it is when we come together in fellowship. We serve such an amazing God. Jesus cares for us. There’s healing in His precious name. Get ready, He is coming soon. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
