𝑫𝑶𝑵’𝑻 𝑷𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑬 𝑮𝑶𝑫 𝑰𝑵 𝑨 𝑩𝑶𝑿

A colleague was in my room and we were conversing. Then, it got to a point where he said something like if something was after him and he came to my room for solace, they’ll come to the room and take him, leaving only me.

And I didn’t even know when I said, ‘𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑦 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚 𝑜. 𝑆ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑛𝑖? 𝐼𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑚𝑦 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚? 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝐼 𝑎𝑚? 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑤𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚.’

We were obviously joking about something chasing my colleague, but I was quite surprised by my own confidence in God’s protective hands. I love that I can trust God’s mighty Hands to fight for and with me. You know, sometimes, I find myself not remembering that I have God, but I’m glad I’m gradually growing to the point where I’m coming to a perfect awareness of God’s protection.

And just then the devil tried to accuse me of my fear for creeping animals.

I chuckled.

How can someone who cannot stand anything creepy stand against other things?

𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘰, 𝘯𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥. 𝘕𝘢 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥.

Or let’s just say, I’m just standing inside him.

God can always be a safe place for us. We shouldn’t limit the areas God can work in our lives. God shouldn’t be in a box. He’s not just a Consuming fire. He’s also a Lover. He’s not just a Provider. He’s also our Protector.
So much we have in Christ, so much God has promised us in His Word. We have to come into knowledge of what God has promised us and activate those dimensions in our lives.

Reader, you can be that too.
You can have in God a safe place you can run too.
How? Don’t stay far away from him. Remind yourself of what the Bible says about the sanctifier and the sanctified being one.
You, my darling can’t be left out.
You shouldn’t be left out.

There is always room. Come snuggle in with the Father.
