We’ve all heard the phrase, “fake it until you make it”. But what if we changed that to “faith it until you make it”? This phrase embodies trusting in God’s plan even when we don’t know what we’re doing or what the outcome will be.
The Bible is filled with stories of people of faith who trusted God even when they didn’t know what was going to happen. Abraham was called by God to follow Him to a land he had never been to. He was told he would become the father of a great nation and that God would bless him and his descendants. Abraham had no idea what that would look like and yet he chose to trust God and follow Him.
Joshua and Caleb were sent by Moses to spy out the Promised Land, and when they returned they were the only two who trusted that God would give them victory over their enemies. They had faith that, despite their limited understanding of the situation, God would provide and protect them.
The Bible is full of stories of faith and trust in God, even when the circumstances seemed uncertain. We can learn so much from these stories and apply them to our lives. When we finish college, start a new job, or even just make a simple decision, we can choose to have faith and trust that God’s plan is better than ours.
Sometimes it’s easy to fall into the trap of relying on our own understanding and our own plans. But when we choose to “faith it until we make it”, we can rest assured that God is in control and His plans are perfect. No matter what happens, God knows what’s best and He will be with us through it all.
So the next time you’re faced with a difficult decision or an uncertain situation, remember to “faith it until you make it”. Trust that God has a plan for you and that He will provide for you. He will never leave you nor forsake you, so have faith and trust in Him!
