Finding Peace from the Greatest Encourager - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.  -- Romans 15:4

Please Pray:

Father, I need your encouragement today as I live in this world that constantly tears me down. I can sometimes forget that your commands and exhortations are meant for encouragement and a guiding light and are not impossible commands. I know, Lord, that your words are for my good, always. Lord, help me see that all your words are for my edification, encouragement, and guidance.

Please help me continue looking to you, where I can unload my burdens and fill my mind with positive truths that bring peace. Lord, help me be full of your peace, not just for my benefit but to encourage others as well. In Jesus name, amen.

We all have a story to share. Mine happens to be a story of the grace and kindness of Jesus. I am a wife to a first responder, a mama to three incredible young men, a lover of words and their meanings, a storyteller, a truth-seeker, and a recovering worrier, to name a few things.
