Fear of crowds: What can you learn from Moses
Imagine standing on a stage, surrounded by hundreds of faces, their eyes fixed on you. Your knees wobble, and your hands tremble with nervous energy. The fear of crowds grips you, a tight knot in your stomach. The pressure to perform and the sea of expectant eyes weigh heavily on you.
This fear is not uncommon. Many people experience anxiety in crowded situations, whether speaking in front of a large audience or navigating a bustling city street. It is a primal fear rooted in our instinct to seek safety in smaller groups.

Moses and public speaking
Moses, a man chosen by a higher power, faced a daunting task. He was to lead his people, the Israelites, out of Egypt to freedom. However, Moses harbored a deep fear of speaking before others. The mere thought of addressing a crowd made his heart race and his palms sweaty.
Despite his apprehension, Moses could not deny the responsibility placed upon him. He had to confront his fear head-on as he stood before Pharaoh, the mighty ruler of Egypt. The task of demanding the release of his people weighed heavily on Moses' shoulders, and the fear of stumbling over his words haunted him.

As Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, God's presence was a constant source of reassurance. Whether parting the Red Sea to ensure their safe passage or providing manna in the wilderness, the Almighty stood by Moses, supporting him in fulfilling his leadership role.

Even if you feel that there are better suits than public speaking, it is essential to recognize that overcoming the fear of crowds is possible. Remember, if you find yourself in a situation where you need to share God's Word with a multitude or convey a positive message to a small group, understand that you were chosen for that moment.
God does not make mistakes in selecting those who represent Him onstage.
