Trust God with your business plans

Good day beautiful people

I hope that this blog post meets you well, and I hope your loved ones are in good health physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. To my frequent readers thank you once again for returning back to my platform and for those who are visiting for the first time you are welcome to my online space. In today’s write up we will be learning about the importance of acknowledging God in all of the decisions which we make.

Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

The book of Psalms reminds us in the 37th chapter that God delights in the steps of the godly. God takes great pleasure in our lives, He is interested in the things which matter to us, and it pleasures Him when we bring Him glory through the way that we live. So never believe that the everyday seemingly meaningless decisions you make are insignificant to God. We must learn to cultivate the habit of communicating with God about all things. Learn to take your matters to God, and pour out your heart to Him because He cares for you.

Psalm 37:23 ~ “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

Today’s write up has been inspired by the passage Genesis 31:10-12. Meditating on these two verses highlighted to me that God cares about every aspect of His children’s lives…God cares about how we manage our money. We should use our finances wisely and aspire to bring God glory through the work of our hands by working honestly, and not acquiring wealth through ungodly means.

Genesis 31:10-12 ~ “And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted. Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I said, ‘Here I am.’ And He said, ‘Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.”

^^^ From the above passage one can note that God revealed to Jacob a way in which he could increase his wealth (resources). God gave Jacob specific instructions which Jacob followed, and that was to mate flocks with streaks, speckles and grey spots. For better context kindly read Genesis 31:6-12.

God can reveal to us in dreams about how we can grow financially, He can give us specific methods on ways to multiply our assets. Now, this will not be the case for every believer we mustn’t forget that God works in different ways in different people’s lives. Let’s not limit God’s power and most importantly let us not doubt His love for us. Not every believer is guaranteed wealth, but every believer is guaranteed eternal life (life everlasting: life after death).

I’m also encouraged to believe that obeying Christ is 100% worth it. There are so many blessings which we can acquire through simply obeying God’s instructions to us. As the hymn goes, ‘Trust and obey, for, there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey’. When we obey God, we are actually expressing through our actions that we trust God’s plans for our lives. We trust that He is true His word, and we believe that He is the good Father, who is perfect in all of His ways.

The point which I really desire to bring across in today’s post is that you should trust God with all your heart. Believe that God is able to give you the wisdom and knowledge you need to be able to be successful in your work profession, career and business so, involve Him in everything. Don’t leave God out of any area of your life, because in stressful moments, believe it or not, God can give you the answer or solution to a problem just by spending a few minutes in His presence. When you work in your own strength you can end up losing hours of sleep as well as valuable time to stress. Stress changes nothing so, instead of carrying your own burdens leave your concerns at the foot of the cross, and be yoked to Christ for His yoke is light!

Matthew 11:28-30 ~ “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

I hope you could take away something from today’s read. No matter where you find yourself in life always ensure to involve God, don’t leave Him out of the equation for He is a very present help in time of trouble.

Love from
