Weep For The Children In The World - Raising Zion

weep for the children

Children are consuming content like never before. They are lost, confused, and lonelier than ever. Trapped in a world of lies and deception. Add to it, non-practicing believers who leave them more hopeless and distraught.

Jesus, on the way to His crucifixion, was met by some of His disciple women. They were crying for Him. Jesus told them not to weep for Him but for their children because the days will come when it will be said blessed are those who are barren.

And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

Luke 23:27-29

Weep for the children of God and the world

Children tend to believe that no one cares for them. So they don’t respond to love and care unless it engages them. Engaging with children is hard work. The best way to ease the burden and then engage is through the power of prayer.

Spiritual nourishment starts early in life, and needs to be top priority for a child as well as a new believer. Child trafficking may be at an all-time high, but the worst is the impact of media and entertainment on the minds and hearts of the innocent.

Believer’s need to spend quality time with their children in prayer and worship. When parents become examples themselves and encourage children to grow in the Lord, we will see a great transformation in the world.

Weep now, and reap the glory of God later – believe and receive, there’s nothing impossible for God. Believe in God, believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Believe in the power of resurrection that raised up Jesus from the dead – the Holy Spirit. Jesus is coming. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
